Diagnostics and setup

A performance package comprises

engine components for desired characteristics

+ cylinder head porting

+ blueprinting

+ optimisation of fuel and ignition

The last step is often ignored and engines leave a workshop untested and unoptimised, leaving you to do all the work to get the engine running right.

At Caferacer, we take the last step very seriously and use the best in dyno technology to give you the best performance from your engine.

Road applications – easy starting, smooth power and fuel economy

Race applications – easy starting , optimal fuel/air mixture under load

What makes us different?

Dyno Dynamics dyno has variable load, so we can simulate real world conditions. The Exhaust Gas Analyser can sample every 0.1 seconds so changes are detected throughout the rev range. Dynojet dynos apply a constant load and the Exhaust Gas Analysers can only sample every 0.3 seconds. When an engine spins up, 0.3 seconds is a very long time and revs would have increased significantly in that time, giving false readings at best.

"The difference was astounding! It's a different bike! Loads of torque"... Anthony of Firebrand Motorcycles Artarmon

"When I came in, my XT500 could only do 100kms per tankful, when I left, it could do 150kms per tankful and the power increased! Talk about bang for your buck!" - Brett Lockhart aka Curly, Sydney NSW

Carburettors or fuel injection

Carburettors - we can set up Mikuni, Keihin, Dellorto, Bing and Amal carburettors. Call us with your bike year/make and model and let us know if the carburettor has been modified or changed.

Fuel Injection - we can set up your Powercommander, call us with your bike year/make and model and the model of Powercommander.
